JUNE 2008 ACTIVITIES

! We have just taken a break from seminars with an
American brother,Paul Whitehead, of Korean Christian
University. 

The first seminar started on June 30, and just
finished it last night (July 3). The thing is that, we
were also moving to a new meeting place in the same
days we have the seminars. I have been used to moving
and so with the help of my small vehicle, church
properties were easily moved to the new meeting place
and finished the transfer on the same day the seminar
was finished.

The next seminar will be in Batangas on the 6th to the
9th. But we will go there on Sunday afternoon to be
able to hold a Bible study in the barrio. (Bro. Paul
goes back to Korea on the 10th ). He will teach our
students in a seminar and also do Bible studies in the
suburbs in three locations. I will try to teach my
three subjects on the students’ available time. (I
have a schedule to teach every Thursday evening and
Friday morning there this semester).
The seminar is designed to encourage church leaders,
preachers and students to be active in the faith. 

Metro South Church of Christ is now renting a larger
space on a 3rd floor of a building that is a corner of
two main roads in the city. We are hoping that our new
place and location will help the church grow in
number. There are around 70 active adult members in
the congregation. 

Two baptisms are to be reported. One in Salawag
congregation (June 19)and the second is one of
our students (June 21)

Oh,I have a bad news for you and a good news too.
 Dr. found a stone in my kidney.(have been going
to the dr. for check up. I have lower back pain
for more than a year now. The good news is. the
 stone can be removed by laser.(Satan can not
stop me too, ha).I still have to go back for
ultra sound.

Activities for June:
1. Our monthly door knocking in Tondo, Manila
2. Church Leaders’, Preachers Meeting in Metro Manila
and also in Cavite.
3. The opening of classes in both schools I am
involved with. Asian Institute of Church Planting.
There are 3 full-time second year students and one
part-time. And there are 3 full-time and one part-time
student. At the Phil. International Bible Institute,
we have ten students.
4. Speaker in a church anniversary in Imus Church of
Christ.
5. Inter-congregational Singing Fellowship in
Kalookan , Metro Manila.
6. Inter-congregational worship in Cavite.
7. Relief collection and sending it to typhoon victims
in Kalibu, Aklan through bus.
